The Swap feature provides the ability copy configurations between phones, device profiles and users. Swap can be used to assist in migrating to newer Cisco Phone Models in a singular or bulk capacity. This Swap Tool can swap or copy configuration between:
- Phones – swap phones of the same or different model
- Device Profiles – swap device profiles of the same or different model
- Users – migrate device associations and ownership to a new user
The Swap feature can help perform common tasks without building a job.
