YetiHockey

YetiHockey is an application in which the player can play a classic air hockey game either against an another player or against a computer opponent.

Players’ task is to score goals by hitting the puck into their opponent’s goal.
The game is best played when the Yetitablet is in the table mode. Table mode requires that the Yetitablet is attached to an eBox.

Settings

From the menu, you can set the speed of the game. The game speed setting affects how fast the puck moves in the game.
The game speed ranges from very slow to very fast.

You can also switch to a soccer theme from the menu by clicking the button at the bottom-left corner. You can switch back to the hockey theme by pressing the same button.
In the soccer theme, the puck will be replaced by a soccer ball and the hockey field gets converted to a green soccer field. The gameplay is otherwise same as the hockey theme.

Game Modes

There are two game modes; Player vs. Player and Player vs. Computer.

In Player vs. Player, two players can play against one another. Their goal is to hit the puck into their opponent’s goal. The game is over when one of the players scores three goals.

In Player vs. Computer, the player plays against the computer opponent. Player plays as the red and the computer plays as the blue. The computer is represented as a hand.
The computer opponents skill is dependant on the game speed. When the game speed is very slow, the computer is easy to beat. The computer proves a bigger challenge when the game speed is set to very fast.
