What is YetiCare?

Home screen

The home screen is the main screen of the YetiCare Launcher. You can customize the home screen and add application icons, shortcuts or widgets to it.

Application Drawer

In the application drawer, you can browse the applications that are installed on the device.

You can access the application drawer by dragging up from the arrow icon at the bottom-center of the screen when in the home screen. To return to the home screen, drag down by the same arrow icon or press the home button in the navigation bar.

Application icons

Application icons represent applications installed to the device and can be used to access the applications.

1. To add an application icon to the home screen: In the application drawer, hold and drag an application icon. Place it to the home screen by releasing it.
2. Increase application icon sizes:
   You can increase application icon sizes from the slider that is located at the bottom-left when in the home screen.
3. Show the action menu for the application icon:
   Press, hold and release the application icon to show a menu that can be used to perform various actions related to the application icon.
4. Rename the application icon:
   Select the “rename” option from the application icon’s action menu.

Folders

Folders can be used to organize application icons into groups.

1. Create a folder:
   Drag and release the application icon on top of another application icon.
2. Add an application icon to a folder:
   Drag and release the application icon on top of the folder.
3. Remove an application icon from a folder:
   Open a folder and then drag the application icon out of the folder.
4. Show action menu for the folder:
   Press, hold and release the folder to show a menu that can be used to perform various actions related to the folder.
5. Name or rename the folder:
   Select the “rename” option from the folder’s action menu.

Pages

Pages contain the application icons and other items on the home screen and application drawer. Use page headers or arrows on the sides to navigate between the pages.

1. Create a new page (in the home screen only):
   Hold and drag an application icon to the right side of the screen and hold it there. Note that if the rightmost page is empty, you can’t create a new page.
2. Show action menu for the page (in the home screen only):
   Press and hold the page to show a menu that can be used to perform various actions related to the page.
3. Delete the page (in the home screen only):
   Select the “delete page” option from the page’s action menu.
4. Rename the header of the page (in the home screen only):
   Select the “rename page” option from the page’s action menu.

Dock

The dock can be customized or enabled/disabled from the YetiCare Launcher settings.
