The law states that any person who makes or causes to be made knowingly false or fraudulent material statement or material representation for the purpose of obtaining or denying workers compensation benefits or payments is guilty of a felony. Most states have similar “fraud” laws. In addition, our company offers a $500 reward for the arrest and conviction of an employee who commits workers compensation fraud.
