TICE provides hourly employees with discounted food during your shift (a “shift meal”). For you to get this benefit, you must work at least a 6-hour shift. The discount is 50% off and cannot be used with other discounts. For example, you cannot bring a coupon and get a 50% discount on the face value of the coupon. You cannot use your discount for items listed on the value menu or any item that the company is running a special on. You are entitled to only one shift meal for each shift you work.
You may not prepare your own food but must order all discounted food and drink from the counter as if you were a customer. Only the manager on duty may ring up discounted food and drink. You must obtain a receipt and sign the receipt. All signed receipts must be placed in the cash drawer and reconciled at the cash break. You must have a receipt for all food and drink. Violations of this policy will lead to discipline, up to and including termination.
All food and drink purchased at the discounted price must be consumed during a meal period of a scheduled shift. It must be eaten in the dining areas or the break areas. You may not deliver any discounted food or drink, including leftovers, to a non-employee at any location. You may obtain discounted food only at the restaurant where you are working.
♦ NO DISCOUNTS ARE GIVEN TO FAMILY OR FRIENDS!
