All new employees shall serve a probationary period of ninety (90) calendar days commencing with their first day of employment. During this period the employee will have an opportunity to determine whether further employment with the employer is appropriate. The employee will not be eligible for, nor earn, any benefits during his or her probationary period. The employer can extend the duration of the probationary period one or more times if, in its sole and absolute discretion, it determines that such an extension is appropriate. The employee will be notified in writing of any and all extensions. The employee or the employer can terminate the employment relationship at any time during or after the probationary period with or without cause.
Upon successful completion of the probationary period, the employee will be considered a regular employee of the company. However, the at-will nature of the employment relationship will not change after the completion of the probationary period.
