Shoplifting can be reduced significantly by following these simple rules:
♦ Acknowledge each customer who enters the store.
♦ Make eye contact and pay attention to the customer.
♦ Wait on the customer promptly.
♦ Watch for odd behaviors like nervousness, being overly cautious, avoiding eye contact and leaving an area when an Associate approaches.
