2.9. Sharing & Copying topics

If you’re maintaining multiple manuals, for multiple different products, there will always be topics that are the same (or very similar) in each of your manuals. The more similar your products are, the more this will be the case.

Manula provides two different solutions for this: Sharing Topics and Copying Topics.

Both methods are accessed via the drop down menu of the Add Topic button (click the little arrow to the right of the button).

In this chapter I will explain the difference between the two, I will recommend when to use one or the other and I will tell you how to use both effectively.
