2.12. Integrity Checker

The Integrity Checker tool automatically checks all topics of your manuals for:

• Broken topic links: links to topics that do not exist (anymore).
• Missing images: references to images that do not exist in the Image Library (anymore).
• Undefined variables: inserted variable that are either not defined or do not have a value.

You can reach the Integrity Checker from the main menu, just click the menu icon top left and choose “Integrity Checker”.

Topic integrity warnings

When you’re working on a topic in your Topic Editor, any integrity issues with that particular topic will automatically appear at the top of the page. No need to explicitly run the Integrity Checker.
