UNDERSTANDING THE LAYOUT – The Publish Preview Page

In the video above we cover the layout and basic functions of Publish Preview Page.

From the main navigation page select the main menu in the top left of the window and open Publish Preview Mode.

In Publish Preview Mode we can Review this project‘s contents and make changes as necessary by expanding each section. Let’s expand a category for a better view. Single click on the headings to expand their contents. Right click or long press on a main category to expand its entire section. Right click or long press on any entry to edit its content, make changes as necessary, save and continue the review.

At the top of Publish Preview Mode you will notice the Expand All button. This expands all of the entries for a view that is ideal for complete review.

The next button over will collapse all of these entries if you wanted to jump to a specific section.

The next button over is ‘Draft Preview‘ which you can use to preview the final report generated into a PDF. Draft Preview will contain a watermark embedded into each page and is for review purposes only.
Make sure your browser allows pop-ups as the selected PDF report will generate in a separate window.
The first option in the Draft Preview Menu is to generate a Full Report.
The second option allows you to generate just the Findings & Recommendations section in a separate PDF file. We find many of our clients and their brokers prefer to receive a separate Report with only the Findings & Recommendations separated from the full report.

Now that we have previewed the draft of the report the next icon over is for generating the final paid inspection Report. This menu contains the same two options for generating a full report or separate Findings & Recommendations Report. In order to generate a report without the background watermarks, you will be required to create an account and setup payment, but this process is quick and easy and you can choose to save your details for quick future access. You will only be charged once per report and this single payment unlocks the ability to generate both the full and Findings & Recommendations Reports. Even after paying for the report you can still go back and make changes as needed without making another payment (note, changing certain specific fields that make make the project appear as a different vessel may trigger InspectX to require payment- on the rare occasion this occurs in error, please don’t hesitate to contact us for immediate credit).

To exit Publish Preview Mode, use the main menu at the top left of the page at any time.
