Publishing Error

A common publishing error found when first publishing a report or when starting from a new computer might be something like the following:

An error occurred when attempting to publish the report. 
The error is as follows: 
PDF header signature not found. 
PdfFile object length: 0.

This is usually the case when your computer does not yet have Adobe Reader installed, or the required browser add-ons to enable opening PDF files.

To resolve, simply download and install the free Adobe PDF reader and try it again.
