Importing a project or file

InspectX files, configuration layouts and settings can be shared between computers but it is worth pointing out that all of these files need to be IMPORTED into InspectX and cannot be ‘Opened’ by double clicking the file.

Importing Files into InspectX

Project File (iX.proj)

You can import a project file from the Project Selection Page. Simply click Import a Project and navigate to the saved project file.

Projects can also be exported by right-clicking and selecting Export Project to File.

Configuration File (iX.conf)

Configuration Files can be imported (and exported) using the icons at the top left of the page when in Configuration Mode.

Settings File (iX.set)

Similarly, Settings Files can be imported (and exported) using the icons at the top left of the page when in Settings Mode.
