Tare settings

This setting allows you to change the operating mode of the tare.

!The options “Automatic Tare” and “Tare only if the weight is stable” are not available when the scale is configured for its use under legal metrology conditions.

Auto Tare: When enabled, if the scale is at zero it will automatically perform a tare when placing a load on the platform. It is a useful option when filling containers, since it avoids having to use the tare button in each operation. When unloading the platform, the tare is canceled automatically. Click on the toggle switch to change its state.

Tare only works when the stability indicator is activated. By disabling this option, the scale will allow the tare operation even if the weight is not stable. Click on the toggle switch to change its state.

Tare mode: Allows you to toggle the tare operating mode between “pre-set tare” and “measured tare”. The default setting is “pre-set tare”. This means that the tare value remains as a negative weight value after unloading the scale, allowing a new operation with a different load using the same tare value. If you select the “measured tare” mode, after unloading the scale, the tare is canceled automatically, forcing a new tare operation for the next load. Click on the toggle switch to change its state.
