In addition to the standard RS232 serial interface, Xtrem scales can be equipped with a second optional interface. This additional interface does not replace the RS232 serial interface, which can still be used to connect any compatible indicator.

The optional interfaces available allow connection to a local area network (LAN) via a UTP cable (optional ethernet interface) or via a Wi-Fi 811.2 connection. In order for the Xtrem scale to connect to the user’s LAN, it is necessary to previously configure some settings. These settings must be modified using the PC-XTREM application itself, so it is probably necessary to previously connect the scale to a PC COM port in order to adapt it to your own local network.

In the sections Ethernet interface configuration and Wi-Fi interface configuration the options are described configuration available in each case.
