Extended resolution

The activates / deactivates the extended resolution mode.

* This function is restricted when the scale has been marked as “legal for trade”: The extended resolution display is automatically deactivated after 5 seconds; plus, it is not possible to record a weighing while extended resolution is activated.

This feature allows you to change the scale division to a value of 1/10 of the scale interval. In other words, it allows you to see the weight indication with an additional digit.

In the example of the previous illustration, we have an indication of 161.0kg on a scale with an interval of 0.5kg. The indication is rounded to 0.5kg, so the actual weight of the object on the platform will be within a range of 161kg ± 250g. The extended resolution function allows us to obtain a better approximation of the weight of the object on the load receptor, of 161kg ± 25g .
