The “Log File” tab allows you to modify the configuration of the weighing log.

The weighing record is a text file in csv format located on a storage unit accessible from the PC where the PC-XTREM application is running. The “Log File” field allows you to indicate the name and location of the weighing log file. The “browse” button opens a file browser window that makes it easy to locate the file.

Activating the “Auto Log” function will automatically record a new weighing operation every time the weight on the scale changes. The stability indication must remain visible for a minimum of time for the program to consider that there is a new weighing operation. Click the switch icon to enable/disable.

The “Min stability time (ms)” option allows defining the minimum time for the system to consider that there is a new weight on the scale each time the weight on the display changes. This value must be expressed in ms (milliseconds).

When the “Force unload” option is enabled, the registration of a new operation will not be allowed until the scale has been unloaded. Click the switch icon to enable/disable.

The value “Min weight for recording” sets a minimum threshold for recording a weighing. This value is expressed in number of scale intervals of the weighing scale. In the following example, the scale has an interval of 0.5kg, and the minimum weight for the automatic registration of a weighing is “10”. This implies that the registration of weighing will not be allowed for weight values less than 5kg.

By activating the “Sound” option, a sound will be emitted each time a new weighing operation is recorded. Click the switch icon to enable/disable.

The “Data logger mode” option allows you to configure the application to record the weight on the display with a constant frequency, which is indicated in the “Timelapse (ms)” section. The value in this field must be expressed in ms (milliseconds). When this function is activated, the weight is recorded regardless of the stability indication or the minimum weight.
