Zero settings

The Xtrem scale is equipped with two different automatic zeroing devices in addition to the button.

In the “Zero options” tab we can adjust the configuration of these two automatic zeroing functions.

!When the scale is sealed for use under legal metrology conditions, these options cannot be modified.

Initial zero setting: Activates/deactivates the automatic zero setting when the scale is turned on. Click on the toggle switch to change its state:

Initial zero setting range expressed in % of the maximum capacity of the scale. If the load on the platform when the scale is turned on is greater than this margin, zeroing will not be done. Adjust the desired value by clicking on the buttons + -

Automatic zero tracking: If activated, when there are small variations of short duration around zero, the scale automatically maintains zero. Click on the toggle switch to change its state.

Operation range of the zero tracking device allows to grade the automatic zero tracking operation through three levels. Level 1 limits the operation range to variations less than 1/2e. Level 2 allows an automatic zero for variations of up to 1e. Level 3 allows an automatic zero for variations of up to 1.5e. Adjust the desired value by clicking on the buttons + -
