Installation requirements

  • The application requires a PC running Windows 7 or higher operating system.
  • PC-XTREM installation needs 10Mb of disk storage space.
  • The PC requires an RS232 serial port (COM port) to connect a standard Xtrem scale. It is possible to use external “USB to COM port” adapters in case the PC is not equipped with any serial port.
  • GRAM adapter cable reference 33819 is required to connect the scale to the COM port of the PC.
  • In the case of scales with Ethernet / Wi-Fi connectivity, the PC must have a LAN interface connected to the same local area network to which the scale is connected.
