Gift Certificates are a form of payment your guests can use to register for Events.
Your guests may be able to purchase Gift Certificates online by themselves, depending on your studio account.
Even if you don’t want to sell Gift Certificates online, you can use them as a form of studio credit.
Here are the different Types of Gift Certificates:
Generated
This Gift Certificate was created directly in the Admin using the More Options > New Gift Certificate feature, or the Gift Certificate was imported from a non-CimpleBox system. There’s no payment history for Generated Gift Certificates.
Purchased
This Gift Certificate was sold through CimpleBox. The payment information is stored in a matching Gift Certificate Order.
Credited
This is a Gift Certificate issued when an Event Registration is canceled to Studio Credit instead of a Refund.
