• State what you are looking for
  • in a clear sentence
  • Answer some of the 5 W’s (what, who, when, where, how [Why is more a philosophical question])

Example:
Bad question: « I want to follow hydrogen things »
Better: « What are the new hydrogen projects/production sites using electrolysis in Europe »

“What”: hydrogen, production sites, electrolysis
Where: Europe
Who: not defined here. It could be competitors, customers, any organisation. If you don’t state any WHO it will lead to a generic query which can be interesting because you don’t know all the market players necessarily.
