When you click on Resources > Sources in the top menu, the list of sources will be displayed.
You have 4 different menus to display your sources:

All sources: all sources present on your platform.

My sources: all sources added by the user.

My favorites: sources added to my favorites (by clicking on the star to the left of the source).

My contributions: sources for which you have been designated as a contributor. You can then add modifications to these sources.

The list consists of several sources / domain names.
Under these sources/domain names, you’ll find all the robots created to follow its various pages.

This table shows different criteria for the domain name/source:

  • Its monitoring.
  • Its favorite button.
  • Its name.
  • Its category.
  • Its country of origin.
  • Its language.
  • Its volume of information collected.
  • Its status.

Cikisibot

You can now categorize a domain name so that you can feed your searches with all its pages.
By activating the cikisibot button, as soon as a new robot follows a page of this domain name, (whether created on your platform or on our community), it will automatically be added to your sourcing and will feed your searches.

Status of a source

A source has two different types of status:

Crawl status: has the source successfully completed its last crawl?

  1. Green > yes: the last crawl was successful.
  2. Orange > no: the last crawl failed but we’re still trying.
  3. Rouge > no: the last crawl failed and we’ve stopped trying.

Quality content: is based on the percentage of information collected by the robot. This is based on the different parts of the article we’re supposed to collect:

  • Title
  • Publication date
  • Author
  • Description
  • Content
  • Image
Revision: 3
