What is a concept?
A concept is a list of saved keywords.
Example 1: bmw OR volkswagen OR peugeot OR citroen OR mercedes OR daimler
Example 2: agriculture OR agricole OR agricoles OR élevage OR bovins OR ovins
Example 3: véhicule OR vehicle OR voitures OR cars OR camions OR trucks
What’s it for?
Allows you to collect all synonyms or translations of a word, a lexical field or a list of *+actor names** (competitors, customers, etc.).
- Using these concepts makes your query more compact and readable.
- Allows you to apply a language to part of your keywords, which is very useful for targeting results in certain languages.
- Allows you to set up advanced searches that are more efficient.
- A concept is much more practical than inserting your keywords and synonyms each time in all your queries.
- It’s easy to edit a concept to add a new keyword.
- You’ll often re-use some of your concepts in several queries and monitoring projects (e.g. “sustainable development” is cross-cutting).
Your colleagues will be able to use your concepts in their queries and help add new words (collaborative).
