1.3. Basic Overview

We are now going to see, step by step, a classic monitoring project within Cikisi.

In order to achieve this, let’s check together the Main functionalities on the top left menu:

Resources – Where to start searching

1. Sources

From here you can put under surveillance almost all the websites and social networks that are of interest to you.

A Cikisi bot will check it for you each hour and bring back to your platform any new publication. These allow you to centralise and automate this “collect” of documents.

You can even access and use our library of hundred thousand followed sources.

2. Smart web

Your smart search engine. Anything you need to filter and find the relevant articles.

Save your searches to fasten your news checking.

Select the most interesting publications and store them in your “knowledge base”.

3. Knowledge base

All articles aren’t necessarily interesting from your searches (Smart Web). Sort out the good ones from the noise and place them in your own folders, called “knowledge topics”.
You will build from there your own library of valuable information.
