3.8. Explore your datas

Cikisi offers you a set of “data visualisation” tools.

It allows you to analyse your results from a different perspective, using charts, maps …

This real “data visualisation” environment will allow you to explore your research in depth and identify:

• trends
• weak signals (discrete)
• new actors
• The geographical activity of your markets
• To know better your sourcing
  

1. Click on a topic
2. Then click on the top right on “show visual search”

Which data on what chart ?

Then you can select a data from the vertical left panel.

Finally, select a chart type from the horizontal top menu ! (pie, bar, map, etc.)

You can click on these charts to filter furthermore. All these additional filters can be seen in the left panel (filters).

Example of use

1. I launch the explore from one of my topics on photovoltaic farm
2. I select the data “dates” and the line chart
3. I click on June 9, 2022 in the graph
4. The results from the left are now all published that specific day. I can consult them to find out the events of that day

*This graph by dates allows you to identify an average of journalistic production and to identify + anomalies+. An abnormally high peak of activity means that your sources have run wild. Use this chart and explore the spike to find out the event(s) that triggered this spike.

How to remove a filter ?

From the left panel “filters”. Anything you have clicked on has been added there.
Simply click on it to remove.
