- CRB recruitment
The staff member’s recruitment has been approved by the CR Bodies and they have successfully completed the required reference checks.
- GS & Rel Recruitment Exam
This indicates the staff member has successfully passed any exams associated with their category prior to employment.
- YPP
This indicates the staff member was successful in the Young Professionals Program exam and has been recruited by the Organization as part of the program. This option will also be used for successful G to P/ G to N staff members who are successful in the YPP exam.
- NCRE (prior 2011)
This indicates the staff member was successful in the National Competitive Recruitment Examination and is being promoted from the General Service and related categories to the Professional category.
- G to P (prior 2011)
This indicates the staff member was successful in the National Competitive Recruitment Examination (now the YPP exam) and has been recruited by the Organization as part of the former program.
- G to N (prior 2011)
This indicates the staff member was successful in the National Competitive Recruitment Examination and is being promoted from the General Service and related categories to the Professional category.
- Prof Lang Comp Exam
This indicates the staff member was successful in the Organization’s Language Professional examination and has been recruited by the Organization. This option will also be used for current GS and related staff members who have passed a Language Professional Examination.
- Top Echelon Appointment
This indicates the staff member has been recruited by the Organization to serve in a top echelon position (e.g. Under Secretary General).
- GS Competitive Exam
This indicates the staff member was successful
in a GS Competitive Examination (e.g. Statistical Assistant exam, Accounting Assistant exam, etc.) and is being recruited or promoted by the Organization for a position at the G-6 level or above in a specialized area. - Prof Lang Coord Exam
This indicated that the staff member was successful in a competitive examination for language coordinator and is being recruited to this professional position.
- Asso Tran. Support Exam
Used for Associate Translator examination. DO NOT use as it only appears in records transferred from the legacy system, IMIS.
- Lang Teacher Exam:
This indicates the staff member was successful in the Organization’s Language Teacher Exam and is being recruited by the Organization to server as a Language Teacher.
