Adding Labs (Pre-labs)

To add a lab, use the sidebar to navigate to the Pre-labs section and select add prelab. Fill in the fields in this section, including the name of the lab and lab director. An email will be sent to this lab director, explaining

• What SeedSprint is
• Which capabilities they will have on the app
• How to create their account
  

Once PIs have received their invitation, they can create their profile page. However, the profiles of invited labs will remain unpublished and will appear in the Pre-labs section until admins approve and convert them to the Labs/PIs section.

In order to convert Pre-labs to labs , admins can approve and convert Pre-labs to Labs by either:

• Selecting the Approve & Convert button on the right side of the Pre-labs page
• Selecting the Approve & Convert button on the top right side of the Pre-lab’s profile
• Selecting multiple Pre-labs and approving them all at the same time via the Approve & Convert button on the top right of the Pre-labs page
