Search SeedSprint’s database for industry partners, startups, available technologies, and institutions.
To obtain best search results, use SeedSprint’s search rules:

Filter searches based on profile type:

  • Technologies and research – filter results to include technology-based profiles including
    • Research project
    • Research labs and PIs
    • Available technologies
    • Startups and pre-startups
  • Corporates and Institutions – filter results to include entities with broader commercialization roles, including
    • Corporate profiles
    • Corporate tech calls (corporate solicitations for solutions targeting a specific field or problem)
    • Service providers
    • Institutions

Note that profiles that appear in the search with an Owner verified checkmark are SeedSprint subscribers, meaning that you will be able to message, send NDAs, and share data within the SeedSprint app with these users. Don’t worry, if your selected potential partner is not a subscriber, it does not affect your ability to get in touch with the right person. You will still be able to reach out to them by sending them your profile with a message through our platform.

Default Search Settings for TTO profiles include corporate profiles, corporate tech calls, and service providers. These filters will be pre-selected on any search that you perform but can be changed by selecting your own filters.

Saving Searches

If you complete a search and would like to be able to see the results of your search string again, you may save your search in the Saved searches tab. Searches that you save will be available at any time here and the profiles included in that search will be marked in your watchlist to help you keep tabs on relevant profiles. Additionally, you will be notified of any new profiles that match the criteria of your saved searches via the Alerts section.

To save a search:

  1. Perform a search with your desired keywords
  2. Select the Saved searches tab while the search results you would like to save are loaded
  3. Enter a name for your search
  4. Select save search

The name and details of your search should appear below the naming field in the Saved searches tab along with the details of your search, including keywords and filters.

Excluding Results

If you keep coming across profiles that are irrelevant to your search but match your keywords, you can exclude them from following searches to achieve more relevant search results.

To exclude a profile from the following searches, select the Exclude Profile option on the top right of the profile page. Then, while searching, you can choose to include or not include these excluded profiles via the Previously excluded results filter.

After creating a public note by selecting Share w/team , a field will appear from which you can select users to notify via email about your comments.

If you find a profile you like and would like input, share it with your team by :

  • Creating a shareable link that anyone can view, including individuals without SeedSprint accounts via the Create link to share this profile button at the top right of every profile. This will create a shareable link viewable for 30 days that can be shared with anyone. Those with the shareable link will additionally be able to view public comments to your team on the profile.
  • Creating public notes and notifying your team. Public notes can be created in the Profile Notes section. Public notes are viewable by anyone within your institution and for those with the shareable link.
