The PCs can boot an individually configured operating system via a PXE boot server.
The operating system (Windows 10) can be downloaded as an ISO file from our download page for each hardware type.
The ISO already contains all the necessary drivers and an up-to-date system.
The ISO also contains the “PCRack Static Tool” for the automated setting of a static IP address at the first mail start.
The tool connects to the “PCRack Service”, a Windows service that manages a list of static IP addresses.
This service can, for example, be installed on the system on which the PXE server is also running.
The Windows installation runs completely independently with pre-configurable settings.
After the Windows installation, a static IP, DNS, gateway and netmask are queried via the “PCRack Static Tool” and set on the PC.
This IP is then marked as used and saved in a separate file together with the transferred PC-Mac address.
This can then be imported into “Remote”
