All applications that are to appear on the Cockpit desktop can be managed here.
A new application can be configured using the plus button.
The following settings can be configured:
General tab:
| Setting | Description |

| Name | The internal name of the application. |
| Display text | The text that is displayed below the icon on the desktop. |
| App ID | For future applications. |
| Description | Description text for the application. |
| URL | URL of the application. You can specify a relative URL (an installed application) such as “/remote” or an absolute URL. |
| Icon | The application icon can be selected from a list of icons. You can upload your own icons. The icon size should be 64*64 pixels. |
| Own window | Displays the application in its own browser window. |
Tab Parameter:
| Setting | Description |

| Single Sign On | Activates single sign on. If SSO is also activated on the application page, the application can be used without further login. |
| Token | A token can be transferred here for special cases. |
| Argument | Additional arguments can be transferred to the application. |
Logout tab:

| Logout URL | After closing the application, a special logout URL can be called up to terminate the application correctly. |
