A directory service can be configured here for authentication.
The following properties can be set:

| Service type | Active Directory (LDAP) and OpenLDAP are currently supported |
| IP/Domain | The IP address or domain of the directory server |
| Base OU | The organizational unit of all groups relevant for “Remote”, in which the users released for the system are located |
| User OU | The organizational unit within which the users are located |
| Domain | The domain to be used for both authentication |
| Read user | For AD a login, for OpenLDAP a DN of a user who has read access to groups and users who are to use “Remote” |
| read user password | The password of the read user |
