Pintexx Workplace is delivered as a virtual machine (VM) for different hypervisors.

Port forwarding

Port forwarding in the firewall to port 80 and 443 of the VM is required (recommended)

Port forwarding is required for the portal and each gateway. Different ports can be used for this.

WakeOnLan
To wake up a PC, its Mac address is required.
If the PC is located in a different network, a WOL service can be used.

2-factor authentication
In the case of 2-factor authentication, different data must be provided for each type:
E-Mail: If AD, then e-mail must be available in the AD, otherwise in the local user
SMS: SMS provider url
Googler Authenticator: APP on SmartPhone
Radius: Key generator
If printing is to be possible on the local printer and a client operating system < Windows 10 is used, the print converter must be activated. (Remote Admin -> Settings -> Print)
Logo
A logo can be configured for the user portal. The logo can be configured as png, gif, jpeg.
Notification
If used as 2-factor Auth. E-mail is used, the connection data of an SMTP server must be known.
Backup
If a backup of the configuration databases is to be carried out, the connection data of an FTP server is required
