Notable changes being implemented for the 2024/25 Season include:
- Carnival Entry Fees
Updated 2024/25 Summer Carnival Fees - Carnival Entry Procedure
Athletes who enter a LSV Summer carnival are subject to all terms and conditions stipulated in the event circular for that event
Members of interstate clubs are eligible to compete at Life Saving Victoria carnivals including State Championships subject to meeting the eligibility requirements - Junior Competitor Eligibility
Junior Competitors must compete in at least one 2024/25 LSV run summer carnival to be eligible to compete at Victorian Junior State Championships - Senior Competitor Eligibility
Senior Competitors must compete in at least one 2024/25 LSV run summer carnival to be eligible to compete at Victorian Junior State Championships - Wetsuits
Youth/Senior Competitors will be allowed to use wetsuits at the commencement of the Summer Carnival season up until the 24th December - Surf Boat Local Rules
Round Robin Racing will occur in each age category at VSRL Carnivals - Senior Carnival Water Safety Requirements
Clubs will be exempt from providing WSO Ratios for U14 events from Senior Carnivals #3 inc R&R Anglesea Sunday 12/01/2025. If their U14 competitors have obtained their Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) award must be processed and visible in SurfGuard for exemption to be effective. - Junior Lifesaving Championships
