Unable to Control KDS-7 & KDS-17 Products with RS-232

Issue:

When using a control tool such as Hercules, it’s not possible to connect to the KDS-7 or KDS-17 products with RS-232.

Solution:

Note: RS-232 API has not been implemented yet.
Workaround: To control KDS-7 or KDS-17 units, you will have to enter the IP of the KDS-7/17 unit and connect either through a TCP port 5000 or UDP port 50000 connection. See screen shots below:
