Extension of USB-C Cables: Not Passing a Signal

Issue:

No image on a display when using a USB-C adapter extension to connect two USB-C to USB-C cables.

Reason

The USB-C cables and USB-C Adapter extension are not in the same orientation.

Solution:

Keep all cables and adapter extensions in the same orientation. For example, keep the “Kramer” logo in the “UP” position.

• C-U3 2/FF
• AD-UCF/UCF USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type–C (F) to Type–C (F) Adapter
  
  

Additional Solutions Available:

• Use the Kramer Active Repeater PT-3UC, which eliminates the need to match the orientation between the two cables (if charging is not needed).
• Use long USB-C Full Feature cables CA-U32/FF or CLS-AOCU32/FF which helps avoid the need to connect two cables together, extending the signal and providing a hassle-free solution.
