Issue:

No output is detected on the receiver output.

Solution:

To solve this issue, check the following:

  1. Make sure that the devices are within the specified range:
  • Up to 70m (230ft) at 1080p
  • Up to 40m (130ft) at 4K@60Hz (4:2:0)
  1. Connect a different source and/or display and check if an output is detected.

Check this to determine if the signal from the source used may be too weak and/or the acceptor can’t output a signal that is too weak. this problem may occur if the attenuation, reduction in the strength, of a signal is too low.

  1. Check if the Network cable RJ-45 connectors are made of metal and not plastic.
Note that metal RJ-45 connectors must be used and the cable Ground shielding wire must be soldered to the metal connector.
  1. Connect the video source (for example a laptop) directly to the display (skipping over Kramer products) to check if a direct connection works. if it works:
  1. Make sure that all LED indications are Green (IN, OUT, LINK and ON). If not:
  • Replace the HDMI cables in the system (first for the source and then for the acceptor).
  • Replace the Network cable.
  • Connect a different TP-580T device to the system.
  • Connect a different TP-580R device to the system.
