KDS-10: Using KDS-10 HDMI Inputs

Question:

Are the two KDS-10 HDMI inputs used for source switching or are they dedicated to each of the streams?

Answer:

HDMI In 1 is dedicated to Stream 1 and HDMI In 2 is dedicated to Stream 2.
The difference between the two streams is their RTSP ports:

• For Stream 1 the default port is 554.
• For Stream 2 the default port is 555.
  

To set the Streaming setting port, open the KDS-10 webpage and set the required port:

1. In the Navigation Pane, click Streaming Settings. The Streaming Settings page appears.
2. Click Streaming to open the Decoder streaming tab, and set the streaming port.
