Step1: Creating an IAR embedded workbench project

  1. Click [File]> [New Workspace] to create a new workspace and then click [Project]> [Create New Project…] to create a project file (.ewp). When a project file created, the project name is displayed in the [Workspace] view of the IAR Embedded Workbench.
  1. Next, you need to add the source files under test to the project. Right-click on the project, click [Add]> [Add Files… ] and add the source files to be tested. The added source files are displayed in a hierarchical structure in [Workspace] view.
