Data transmission
SmartPoints wirelessly communicate with a wireless network consisting of a SmartGate and SmartRouters that extend the range of the communication.
Logging and flushing
In range of a wireless network, SmartPoints provide real-time information. Outside a wireless network, SmartPoints log their measurements, and automatically download this log upon arrival in a wireless network. From the SmartGate, the sensor measurements are securely communicated to the central Berlinger SmartView web application. This provides an integrated real-time view on shipments and storage facilities.
Features
SmartPoints are small, battery-operated, intelligent wireless sensing devices with 2MB on board data storage, advanced logging & flushing technology, and low energy consumption. SmartPoints have an accurate internal temperature and humidity sensor, ideal for any application where relative humidity must be monitored and EN12830 compliance is required. With a magnetic reed switch for triggering behaviour, and a LED for visual inspection. Both sensors can be calibrated based on ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
