Purpose of Conference Approval Process

Conference Approved Literature developed for S-Anon reflects the S-Anon principles of recovery and is an important means of fostering our growth, unity, and service. The Conference Approval process ensures that proposed recovery literature is reviewed by the Literature Committee, which is made up of Editors and Readers. This is a representative group of members from across the US and Canada that provide feedback throughout the process. After the reviewing process is completed by the S-Anon Literature Committee, the material is then voted on by the BOT, Editors, and Readers before publication. This way, we ensure that S-Anon CAL will be an expression of experience strength and hope by a wide variety of S-Anon members.
