The header contains the subject of the article and the status.

Save (and close)

When you make changes to an article, the save button is enabled
Press to save the changes. To save and close the article tab, press

Status

It is easy to change the status on a FAQ article. Simply click on the status field in the top-right corner, and a drop-down menu with available options will appear.

Sidebar

The sidebar consist of two areas: the content menu at the top, and information below.

Details

Choosing the Details option in the content menu opens the article’s details. Here you can write a description and add tags.

Description
Fill in a suitable description of the FAQ article.

Tags
Tags allow you to specify keywords that can be used to search for this FAQ. Category tags are set up by an administrator and will additionally group the FAQ under the given category tag on Selfservice. Search for available tags in the search box.

Attachments

Choosing the attachments option in the content menu opens the FAQ article’s attachments. Here you can add, preview, download and delete attachments.

Add file
You can add an attachment in one of two ways: either press Add file and browse the file system for the file, or drag-and-drop the file from a folder to the center content section. Pureservice will let you know if you are outside the drag-and-drop boundaries with an forbidden sign.

Preview
To preview an attachment, click on the thumbnail. The attachment will be displayed centred on your screen and in full-size.

Download
If you want to download an attachment to your local machine, simply click on the file name.

Delete
Click on the delete button to remove the attachment from the FAQ.

Access control


Choosing the Access control option in the content menu opens the article’s access control. Here you can choose which agents and or endusers who will see this article.

Agents (Team)

Select which team (or all) that should have access. An agent must be a member of the selected team to gain access.

Endusers (Access lists)

Add or remove one or more access list. A user must be included in at least one of the access-lists to gain access. Search for available access lists in the search box. This option is only available if the article is published to Selfservice.

Information

At the bottom of the sidebar, you will find information about when the article was created and modified.
