As the Excel Import form outlines, to import a user list into either DBP or EPC, administrators will need to upload an Excel file (.xlsx) that meets the following requirements:
- It must include the user list on Sheet1 of the document.
- It must include the listed column headers in the first row of the spreadsheet:
- It must adhere to the following guidelines:
- For a new role, input the corresponding department. For an existing role, the department is not required.
- To enable EPCAdmin, Modeler, and/or Portal permissions for the user, enter “Yes” in the relevant fields. To disable these permissions, instead leave the columns blank.
- To mark a user as active, enter “Yes” in the relevant field. To mark them as inactive, leave the field blank.
- For a new role, input the corresponding department. For an existing role, the department is not required.
The Excel Import module provides a template that meets these requirements. Alternatively, administrators can download an Excel file from the Organization Management module and use that as the template instead.
