By selecting the BPMS Database checkbox/module in the Features installer, the Database Configuration form will then be displayed. This form is used to install or update the database.

  1. Connect to Existing Database: This option allows users to connect to an existing database.
    • If this option is selected, the installation will be performed on the DBP database in the system.
  1. Create New Database: This option allows users to create a new database.
    • If this option is selected and the corresponding database profile is then inputted, the DBP database will be created under the chosen name.
  1. Server: This is a text field that allows users to input the name or IP of the server where the database is/will be located.
  2. Database Name: This is a text field that allows users to input the name of the database that they want to update or create.
  3. DB Username and Password: These are text fields wherein the username and password of the database owner can be inputted.
  4. Server Username and Password: These are text fields wherein the server username and password for the system administrator can be inputted.
  1. Check Connection: This button allows users to verify the connection to the database.
