Transport Expresso includes functionality to allow users to delegate their approvals to another user, for example, when a user goes on holiday/vacation.
Delegation can be done in the TE Windows GUI and in the TE Web UI by authorised users.
This same functionality can also be performed by Transport Expresso Administrators. The most common use of this “forced delegation” is when an approver goes away on holiday/vacation (or is away due to sickness) and thus fails to turn on the delegation for themselves.
In this case, the course of action is for one of the TE Administrators to perform a “Forced Delegation” whereby you select the approver who is away on holiday and then select a user (or users) who will be performing the delegation in their place.
