This might be due to any Power Saver/Battery Saver apps that restrict background process. Remove all restrictions from your power saver for Pi Music Player. This stops your device from clearing Pi Music Player from the background processes. In certain devices such as VIVO, REDMI etc. there are inbuilt apps such as iManager and Security which restrict background processes for apps. Ignore all restrictions for Pi Music Player for prolonged usage.

Some general changes in Settings you might want to try:

  • Go to Settings (or Battery Optimisation/Device Manager) > Battery > Adaptive Battery > Restricted Apps > Remove Pi Music Player if listed under it (or select “Do not optimise”).
  • Go to : Settings in the app -> Advanced -> Click on “Grant Permission to allow background music playback” and click ALLOW in the following system dialog.
