Playlists can be added to your device’s home-screen from Pi Music Player. Home-screen shortcuts are introduced in update 2.6.6 of the app, to make it easier for the users to access their playlists at the click of an icon. Playlist shortcuts can be added to the homescreen in multiple ways.
- When creating a playlist from the PLAYLISTS, the user will be displayed with a dialog box as shown in the below image.
- Home-screen shortcuts can also be added from within a playlist by clicking on the options button at the top right and selecting Add Home Screen Shortcut.
- Home-screen shortcuts can also be created from the multi-select options “Add to Playlist” screen, when creating and adding songs to a playlist.
Playlist Home-screen shortcuts will appear on the home-screen of your device and can be rearranged according to the user’s preference.
