You can also backup your playlists in Pi Music Player. This will prove useful in case of loss of data, deletion of data etc.

  • The user can backup playlists manually by going to Settings and scrolling down to the PLAYLISTS settings and click on Backup playlists now.
  • The user can select the playlists by checking the check boxes next to each playlist name in the list of playlists or can select all the playlists at once by clicking on the Select All option on the top Right corner of the screen.
  • The user can manually select the location(Internal memory/SD card) to save the backup file.

The user can also automatically backup playlists by clicking on Periodically Backup All Playlists. This provides the user with 3 options:

  • OFF.-> turn off automatic backup
  • Daily at 2 A.M. -> Automatically backup all playlists daily at 2 A.M.
  • Every Sunday at 2 A.M. -> Automatically backup all playlists every Sunday at 2 A.M.

To restore playlists, click on the “Restore Playlists Now” option in Settings. Select the playlist backup zip file to be restored.
