6.10 The app is suddenly crashing in my device from the past couple of days. What is the issue and how can it be fixed?

*Starting on MARCH 22, 2021 a lot of users have complained about the app crashing inexplicably, multiple times. This is an issue that is present in all devices and is affecting a multitude of apps.

The cause seems to be an issue at the ANDROID OS end. Due, to a recent ANDROID SYSTEM WEBVIEW update, multiple apps are facing issues. To ensure that your Pi Music Player works seamlessly please follow the following steps.

1. Open PlayStore.
2. Search “Android System Webview” or click here
3. Update the above mentioned app to the latest version.
