This infotype stores data pertaining to the staff member’s mobility and cannot be skipped for internationally recruited Staff Members.

It consists of the three following sections:

  • NPO Mobility – non-editable fields
    • Duty station indicates the Staff Member’s current duty station.HS Classification refers to the degree of hardship a Staff Member is likely to experience in a duty station.
    • The EOD Duty Station date is the date the Onboarding PA takes effect. The length of time elapsing (years/months/days) is calculated from the PA process date.
    • The Count for Mobility box is checked for fixed-term appointments or reappointments of an initial period of one year or more, or secondments, transfers or loans for one year or more that involve a change of duty station.
  • Mobility — non-editable fields
    This section indicates whether the Staff Member has been granted mobility incentive. It displays the number of movements and the mobility end date. It also indicates whether the eligibility date was extended.
    • The Grant Effective Date field is left blank for Initial Appointment PAs because the Staff Member does not get mobility payment.
    • The Length of Service is calculated from the EOD date to the current date.
    • The Qualifying Assignments field shows the Staff Member’s number of counts for mobility. It breaks down the counts by duty station.
      Non-removal
    • This entitlement was discontinued effective 1 July 2016. Staff who were in receipt of the non-removal allowance as of 30 June 2016 continued to receive the allowance for up to 5 years or until they move to a new duty station.
