A set of data relevant to the expiration of a work contract. This infotype is included within the personnel action Termination of Contract.

The selection screen of this infotype consists of the following group boxes:

General

  • Termination type – The termination type is a subtype of this infotype and shows the cause or reason for the contract termination. This data affects the severance pay.
  • Employee group – This allows you to group employees for calculating their severance pay. You can define your own employee groupings for termination in Customizing for Personnel Management under Personnel Administration Payroll Data Termination Define employee groupings for termination.

Severances

  • Individual severances – On this tab page you can define up to 20 individual severances, in addition to the ones defined as generic ones. For example, you can define special severances which the employer and the employee have agreed on. For this, see the Customizing for Personnel Management under Personnel Administration Payroll Data Termination Verify processes of severances. . After you create individual severances by means of the above mentioned Customizing activity, these severances – together with the generic ones – will be displayed in the input help of the corresponding field within this tab.
  • Generic severances – This tab page shows the severance models available for the termination type that you have selected. For more information, see the Customizing for Personnel Management under Personnel Administration Payroll Data Termination Define termination types.. On this tab page there are two checkboxes, as follows:

  • Disable all generic severances – If you select this checkbox, the severances displayed on the Generic severances tab page will not be considered by the system, neither for reporting nor for calculation.

  • Disable severance of model for termination – This checkbox can be selected for each generic severance (maximum of 10 severances possible). That means, if you select it for a particular severance, this severance will not be considered by the system.
