The most fundamental failsafe to ensure has been set is the Return to Home (RTH) function. This should be set for the low battery, loss of control and operator initiated RTH. The RTH height should be set above any obstacles that may be present in the area of operation. It is important to remember that once initiated, the UAV will immediately climb to the RTH height and take a straight line back to the RTH point.

Operators should also ensure that the RTH is set to the take-off point. As part of the pre-flight and after turning on the UAV, the Operator should wait for the Home Point Update audio prompt before beginning to fly.
